The Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) is currently recruiting a:

Full Time Manager  Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR)

Responsible to the Director, Surgical Services, the Manager provides direction and support for the day-to day operations and facilitates the on-going development of department staff and is responsible for meeting the planning objectives of the Department.

• Post Secondary Degree in a related field.
• Three to five years
• Completion of CHA management courses or equivalent would be an asset.
• Certification in a Central Service Technical Course would be an asset.
• Advance knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation.
• Excellent human resources management and leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with staff, physicians and patients/families.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects at a time.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve goals and objectives within specified time frames.
• Excellent conflict resolution and change management skills.
• Computer skills and knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programs.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education.
• Membership and participation in a relevant professional organization.
• Knowledge of collective agreements would be an asset.
