CRITERIA:

Selection is based on the following:

The recipient must be a graduate of the MDRAO Medical Device Reprocessing Techniques Online Course held between June 1st to May 30 of the preceding months before the conference.

The recipient must have received 90% or more on the MDRAO online exam.

The recipient must be a current voting member of the MDRAO, live in Ontario and be employed in a Medical Device Reprocessing setting.

The recipient’s eligibility for the award is contingent upon registration and attendance at the MDRAO bi-annual conference.

Should the recipient be unable to attend the conference, the award will be pass to another participant who meets the criteria. No exceptions are to be made.

Acceptance and registration for the conference must be received by the MDRAO office within one month of notification of the award by the Directors of Education.

The MDRAO Directors of Education will bring forth only those names that have 90% or more on the MDRAO online exam and are current MDRAO voting members at the June executive meeting. The Directors of Education will contact the member with the highest mark. They must attend the conference and register within two weeks of acceptance. The winner is responsible for providing their own transportation to the conference. The MDRAO will pay their conference registration and one night hotel accommodation. A registration form will be sent to the winner to be completed within two weeks of notification. If this does not occur, then the next person with the highest mark will be contacted.

An engraved memento and a cheque for $1,000.00 will be presented to the successful recipient at the Awards Banquet to cover their costs.

THE AWARD:

The award of $1,000.oo allows the successful recipient to attend the MDRAO conference and receive an engraved memento.

The winner must attend the conference. The MDRAO will cover the registration fee to the conference and one night hotel accommodation.
