An enclosed rigid sterilization container designed to be sterilized without wrapping. Note: This system generally consists of a bottom or base with carrying handles and a lid that is secured to the base by a latching mechanism. It can contain a basket or tray to hold medical devices. The system incorporates means for air evacuation and sterilant penetration.
